100 GWC and Surprise SSR!

Victor trolled me, lol. For a brief moment, I thought I had pulled his Van Gogh event card from my very first free pull. That would have been way too good to be true, I guess. But yeah, I have to skip the Van Gogh event anyway. Right now, I'm actually more excited about Lucien's free SR event than Victor's solo, even though Victor's is supposed to be the main event at the moment. Sorry, Vic. xD

I've also finally managed to collect 100 GWC coupons! That recent R event helped a lot — I basically earned one coupon every day. However, I'm still a long way from having enough for the worst-case scenario (aka having to redeem the card after 144 pulls). Someone could definitely scold me for spending coupons on the Mermaid event earlier, lol, but I have absolutely no regrets. That date was soooo good, and it was completely worth it. Of course, I could always make up the missing 40 coupons by spending gems, but I really hope it won't come to that because I desperately need to save my gems..!

Now I'm wondering how many coupons I should throw at that upcoming UR event to test my luck. At first, I planned to sacrifice about half of my savings, but since I'm currently not planning to participate in any other Wish Tree events for the rest of the year, it might actually be safe to spend everything now and slowly rebuild my coupon stash afterward. It's pretty crazy, considering I used to be a very cautious, "better safe than sorry" kind of player. But lately, I've been much more willing to take risks. XD

Shaw's Five Seconds of Glory

Image
Hi, it's me casually jumping +10 levels with every guy after speedrunning basically the entirety of Season 2 in a single week. XD I just had to capture this rare moment when Shaw was in first place for a few seconds (I collected his points first so he could enjoy the spotlight lol). Luci is probably jealous that I never celebrate his achievements lol

The site is finally open!

Today I'm officially opening the blog to the public, so hello and welcome, everyone! Sorry about the rather gloomy blog name and appearance. As you probably guessed, I came up with both during my grieving period. I may update them later, since this blog has become much more than a place for old memories: Over time, it has also turned into a record of my gaming journey after EOS.  I recommend checking out the info page first, and to make it easier to keep up with new content, you can find information about the latest updates behind the calendar icon . My posting schedule varies quite a bit. Sometimes you may not hear from me for a month, while other times I might publish several posts in a single week.  On the left sidebar, you'll find icons familiar from the game, and by clicking them, you can browse the content available in each section (if you're viewing the site on your phone, you'll first need to tap the button in the top-left corner to open the sidebar). I general...

Summer Event / Haunted Manor - Kiro's Story Translations

Kiro's turn! Intro: Old Shadow in Painting Translation Kasa: I'm back—— I was met with a long silence. I had a vague idea of what was going on, so I gently placed the shopping bag in the entryway and cautiously peeked into the living room. On the sofa scattered with countless scripts, Kiro was curled up in the corner, sleeping quietly. A cold, soft light shone on his face; the old movie on the screen had finished playing for who knows how many times, and was now stuck on the poster on the cover— The person in the play, dressed in a long robe with flowing sleeves, sat on a carved chair, his eyes lowered as if still immersed in the play. I tiptoed to his side, and seeing the dark circles under his eyes, I sighed with a pang of heartache. Kiro recently took on a film role, playing Ruan Shao, a legendary opera singer from the early 20th century. Ruan Shao was at the height of his fame, but disappeared abruptly at the peak of his career, like a good show that had just ...
