Indigo Shorts

I had already decided to skip the Indigo Night Vista rerun because I'm usually not interested in the boys' long-haired versions, and I don't necessarily need them in my card collection. But! The mini-stories included in the event actually managed to catch my interest, since I'm such a sucker for silly crush stories haha! I almost ended up spending gems, but then I stopped myself when I realized I could watch these dates on YouTube with official translations, which would be much more enjoyable than translating them myself anyway. So, the gem-saving continues successfully. ,-)

However, I couldn't find official translations of these mini-stories, so I was going to share my favorite ones here. Or, well, I just noticed that Anina recently did the same thing on her YouTube channel, so I think I'll take the easy route and link to her better-translated videos instead of sharing my own.

List of Indigo Night Vista Event Story Videos:

Still, I'm gonna show some love for Luci and include his videos here, just like I originally planned. These were all so cuteee hehehe! I even got a little jump scare while eating and translating these when he suddenly said, "You look beautiful when you eat." Sir, can you see me through the screen or what? 😳

I also liked most of Shaw's scenes, while Victor, Kiro, and Gavin each had a few individual scenes I enjoyed!

Lucien's Translations

There is a beast on the mountain named Bai Ze, which knows about ghosts and gods and understands the appearance of all things. The sun and stars are hidden, and monsters roam freely. However, once Bai Ze appeared, all the demons retreated.

In the bustling restaurant, looking at the food I had "swept clean" from the table, I breathed a satisfied sigh of relief.

Lucien, who was sitting opposite me, couldn't help but smile, and then pushed the pastries in front of him toward me.

Lucien: There are some snacks here. Would you like some?

I nodded, and just as I picked up my chopsticks, I realized something.

Kasa: Huh? Why aren't you eating?

Kasa: I ate most of these dishes just now, so perhaps... you can't get used to human food?

Lucien: Yes, I do eat these foods very rarely.

Lucien: Today is probably the first time.

Kasa: What a pity!

Kasa: Savoring all kinds of delicacies is one of the greatest pleasures in life.

I shook my head regretfully, then on a whim, I picked up a piece of pastry and held it to Lucien's lips.

Kasa: This is osmanthus pastry. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a sweet and delicious flavor. Want to try some?

Lucien looked at the crispy pastry offered to his lips, his eyes flickered slightly, and then he obediently opened his mouth and ate it.

Lucien: Well, it's delicious.

This small gesture immediately attracted the attention of those around us. Several young girls cast curious yet shy glances at us.

I then realized what I had just done in public, and my heart started racing.

Kasa: Okay, that's good... Let's go now!

Lucien: Hmm? You've finished eating already? There's still a lot of pastry left.

A hint of doubt flashed across Lucien's eyes.

Kasa: Okay, let's hurry! The temple fair is about to begin.

Lucien glanced at my burning ear tips, then at the person next to us who was looking at us with an ambiguous expression, and a knowing smile appeared on his lips.

Then, ignoring everyone's stares, he gently wiped the crumbs from the corner of my mouth with his hand and spoke, word by word.

Lucien: You look beautiful when you eat.

Lucien: Watching you enjoy your food, with such a satisfied look on your face...

Lucien: For me, that is one of the greatest joys in life.

Many people came to participate in the temple fair. The long street was crowded with tourists, and all kinds of stalls were packed with people.

The dazzling array of trinkets overwhelmed me, when a roadside vendor called out to us.

Street vendor: Girl, take a look at this sachet! You can give it to your sweetheart.

Kasa: Um, I...

I glanced hesitantly at Lucien beside me, then touched the sachet hanging from my waist.

Lucien: Vendor, what should the man give as a gift?

Lucien suddenly asked.

Street vendor: Of course, it's a flower! If you're interested, young master, why not choose one?

Lucien: Okay.

Before I could react, Lucien had already picked out a white hibiscus flower and placed it in my hand.

Lucien: See if you still like it?

The flowers in my hand were as white as snow, bright and beautiful. I looked into Lucien's gentle eyes and nodded heavily.

Kasa: Um. I like.

---

A moment later, we left the stall. I finally mustered up my courage, took off the light-colored sachet that I had been wearing around my waist, and handed it to Lucien.

Kasa: Lucien, this is for you.

The sachet was embroidered with an animal pattern, but the design was a bit rough, and I touched the tip of my nose a little embarrassedly.

Kasa: I was too embarrassed to give it to you at the stall just now because those sachets were all too exquisite.

Kasa: This is my first time embroidering, and it's not very good...

Kasa: In addition to spices, I also added a few medicinal herbs that have a calming and sleep-inducing effect!

Kasa: If you don't mind, you can use it for now.

Lucien took the sachet, examined it carefully, and after a moment, the corners of his lips curved slightly.

Lucien: It looks great.

Kasa: Really?

Lucien: Hmm. Since this is my first time receiving one, I have no way to compare it.

Kasa: Oh, I see.

My mood is a little subtle.

Kasa: I thought my skills had improved a bit...

Seeing my mixed feelings, Lucien couldn't help but laugh.

Lucien: Okay, I was just kidding.

Lucien: This sachet is the most beautiful one I've ever seen.

My vision was filled with his gentle smile. Lucien reached out and gently ruffled my hair.

Lucien: Thank you for your kind gesture; I will definitely cherish it.

Before we knew it, night had fallen, but the bustling atmosphere on the long street remained as lively as ever.

Everyone was eagerly anticipating the start of the fireworks display.

Kasa: There seem to be more people now...

I muttered something under my breath, but my hand, which was hanging by my side, was suddenly pulled up.

Lucien: That way, we won't have to worry about getting separated.

As soon as Lucien finished speaking, a loud bang was heard, and fireworks shot into the sky with sparks, blooming into beautiful sparks.

We found a quiet corner on the street, and looking at the magnificent night sky, a warm feeling welled up in my heart.

Kasa: Lucien, have you ever seen fireworks before?

Lucien: I've seen it. But I didn't feel anything special about it.

Lucien: But watching it with you now has a unique charm.

Lucien said calmly. Perhaps for a god like him who possesses eternal life, even the most dazzling fireworks are nothing more than a fleeting moment.

I hesitated for a moment, then slowly opened my mouth.

Kasa: In your eyes, are we humans also like fireworks, fleeting and ephemeral?

Before I could finish speaking, Lucien suddenly lowered his head and looked at me intently.

Lucien: It is dazzling and deeply ingrained in people's hearts.

As our breaths touched, his warm breath brushed against my cheek, and my breathing quickened.

Lucien: Why is your face so red?

Kasa: ...It was illuminated by fireworks.

Lucien smiled slightly, but didn't expose me.

The fireworks were like clusters of flowers slowly blooming, but I couldn't concentrate.

That undeniable gaze finally made me turn my head and meet Lucien's bright, sparkling eyes.

Kasa: Lucien, why aren't you watching the fireworks? You keep looking at me...

Kasa: Aren't fireworks beautiful? You're making it impossible for me to concentrate.

I frowned, pouted, and muttered a complaint.

Seeing my embarrassed and annoyed expression, Lucien smiled.

Lucien: It's beautiful. but......

He took the hibiscus flower from my hand and tucked it into my hair.

Lucien: The "flower" before my eyes is even more beautiful than fireworks.

As the last wisp of smoke dissipated into the night sky, the temple fair was drawing to a close, with only the final activity of "releasing lanterns" remaining.

Lucien led me to a quiet lakeside, where fireflies twinkled on the azure surface.

Kasa: It's so beautiful here...

Kasa: But where can I find lanterns?

I looked at the calm lake surface; there wasn't a single lantern, let alone a single flower.

Lucien: This has stumped me...

Lucien frowned, feigning difficulty. Fortunately, I saw through his lie immediately and burst out laughing.

Kasa: Great master, how could such a small matter possibly stump you? You definitely have a solution, right?

Seeing that I had exposed him, Lucien laughed.

Lucien: Yes, there is indeed a way.

He reached out and took the hibiscus flower that had been stuck in my hair, then held it in his palm.

A pure white light swirled around his hand, and soon the flower grew to four or five times its original size.

Lucien: Now, let's release the lanterns.

He looked at me with a smile in his eyes, then placed his palm on the back of my hand, guiding me to place the flower on the river.

The hibiscus flowers immediately attracted fireflies from the lake, which surrounded them like twinkling stars illuminating the blossoms.

From a distance, it looks like a bright "lantern" floating on the river.

Lucien: Don’t you make a wish?

Kasa: Um?

Lucien: I've heard that people make wishes when they release lanterns.

Looking at Lucien's face illuminated by the light, my heart softened even more. So I shook my head.

Kasa: No more.

Kasa: I'm already very happy. That's enough.

Lucien was taken aback at first, then a beautiful smile appeared on his lips.

He took my hand and placed it in his palm.

Lucien: Fool. This is just the beginning.

Lucien: Many more exciting things await you in the future. The road ahead is still long.

He moved closer to me, our noses touching.

Lucien: Would you like to be with me?

I managed to save myself some work with this post and the translations hehe. I'm still gonna save all the translated texts just in case, and I can share them via a link if anyone wants see them. However, the rest of the translations are currently unedited, so they're probably not very pleasant to read. xD
